ENROLLMENT PROCESS

Assessment Test

When ALL required documentation has been submitted with the appropriate fees to the school Registration and Admission Office, AGBS Registrar will contact parents to schedule an interview for Pre-Kg - KG2 applicants and an assessment test for grade 1 - 12 applicants.

Once the assessment test has been completed, the applicant’s file will be reviewed by the Admissions Committee. Admissions may be granted, denied or the School may place the student on a waiting list. In all cases, the parent/guardian will be notified of the outcome of the assessment.

If assessment results are satisfactory and places are available, parents will be invited to register their children.

Acceptance:

  When a child is accepted, the parents must visit the Registration Dept. to pay 100 KD (registration fee – non-refundable), and In compliance with the Ministry of Private Education circulars, parents must submit the following.

A complete Health File from Kuwait Ministry of Health / previous school.

Financial Clearance Certificate from previous school. (Students transferring from another school in Kuwait)

Original Transfer Certificate from previous school. (Students transferring from another school in Kuwait)

Failure to do so results in the registration being cancelled. Once ALL the above documents have been submitted to the admissions office, AGBS will confirm a student's start date. If the student’s file is incomplete, a student cannot start. It is a requirement stated by the Ministry of Education.

Notes

In circumstances where the student suffers from any medical condition or cronic desease, the parents must submit the necessary medical documents. Failure to do so gives the schoo the right to cancel the registration and parents should pay all the school fees.

In case of divorce or death (God forbid), the legal guardian should submit the official educational custody certificate to the registration department.
